Disability Rights

Our Consumer Advocacy Program staff regularly communicates with other local and statewide disability organizations and officials. Together, we respond with a unified voice when system change is needed or issues are raised.

Self-Advocacy Groups

Our staff is actively involved in promoting the existence and effectiveness of self-advocacy groups throughout the state. We have facilitated groups in several counties and would welcome the opportunity to work with any person or organization needing training and/or technical assistance in starting or maintaining a self-advocacy group.
